As Kidango’s Vice President of Human Resources, Cheryl oversees Recruitment, Benefits, and the HR Generalist Team to provide ongoing value-add HR programs and services to Kidango staff . She is grateful to work alongside some very talented team members and to be able to support the amazing work Kidango provides to the community.
Cheryl’s desire to give back to the community led to a change in her career, and she has since served non-profit organizations for over 25 years. Her inspiration started as a volunteer at a small food pantry in her community, and she later served on their Board of Directors. She has supported youth mental health, the unhoused, and affordable housing at the Milpitas Food Pantry and Housing Trust Silicon Valley in various administrative roles, including finance, fundraising, and compliance. Her heart ultimately led her to Human Resources where she has served in Human Resources leadership positions with Charities Housing Development Corporation, Counseling & Support Services for Youth (CASSY), and most recently with LifeMoves.
