Meet Our Center Director

Jazmin Martinez Urdiales
Favorite childhood memory: My favorite childhood memory is that every weekend was for family. My parents would take my little sister and me to a park and dinner, with a little snack at the end of the day. Every other weekend, we would go visit our cousins in Sacramento or they would come visit us. It was always fun playing with my parents and sister, as well as with my cousins.
Favorite children’s movie: The Prince of Egypt
Favorite children’s books: The Day The Crayons Quit

Meet Our Regional Director

Nora Goodale
Email: ngoodale@kidango.org
Originally from Mexico, I hold a degree in elementary education and spent 13 years teaching kindergarten and elementary school in both private and public settings there before moving to the United States. I later earned an associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Chabot College and a bachelor’s degree in Human Development, with a concentration in childhood development, from Cal State East Bay.
I’ve been with Kidango since 2010, growing from Internal Substitute Teacher to Associate Teacher (5 years), Center Director across three Kidango centers (7 years), and, since March 2024, Regional Director supporting centers from Contra Costa to San Jose.
As Regional Director, I guide and empower center directors and educators to build nurturing, safe, inclusive learning environments where children thrive and feel a sense of belonging. Through open communication and close collaboration with educators and families, I work toward one shared goal: setting every child up for success.
