e-Scrip
A new innovative way to give back to Kidango. You simply go to their website and register your credit card, debit/ATM card or loyalty card, and shop at designated stores, such as Safeway, Food-4-Less, and Chevron gas station. E-scrip will automatically send a percentage of your purchase to benefit Kidango.
Donate through United Way
Does your employer conduct a workplace campaign through the United Way? You can designate Kidango to receive your donation. Just list our name and our mailing address - Kidango, 44000 Old Warm Springs Blvd., Fremont, California 94538. Kidango is an IRS qualified 501(c)(3) charity. Our Federal tax ID number is 94-2581686.
Vehicle Donation
Call toll-free 866-332-1778 to donate your vehicle. We accept cars, trucks, SUVs and other types of vehicles.
Our vehicle donation program is administered by V-DAC. The operator will ask you a few questions and get your contact information. Their staff determine if they can accept the donation, arrange to pick up your vehicle, do all the necessary DMV paper work and provide you with a receipt for tax purposes.
V-DAC has many years of experience processing vehicle donations. Their decision whether to accept a donation is final. We believe it is an efficient use of our resources to pay specialists to operate our vehicle donation program and not actually handle the donations ourselves.
Kidango receives the proceeds after costs are deducted. The amount received depends upon the amount the vehicle brings at auction. This may be more or less than the Kelly Blue Book value depending upon market conditions at the time of the auction.
Kidango uses the proceeds to purchase supplies and equipment and to train staff in order to enhance the quality of our services to young children and their families.
