Our Agency

Board of Directors

To be a member of the Board is to help further the mission of the agency primarily by setting policy, managing funding, planning for the future, and providing governance.

All board members are expected to:

· Become acquainted with and support the Mission of the agency.
· Participate in strategic planning for the future of the agency.
· Be acquainted with the by-laws, Personnel Manual and Policies Manual.
· Regularly attend board and committee meetings.
· Actively prepare for and participate in all meetings of the board.
· Make an annual gift to the agency and support fund raising activities.
· Help promote the agency to the larger community.
· Actively recruit prospective board members.
· Participate in board member skill development opportunities.
· Actively participate in the evaluation of the Executive Director.

Each board member serves on at least one committee of the Board.
