The philosophy of Kidango is based on the belief that each child deserves an opportunity for total development. Each child comes to our program with certain strengths that are expanded upon and reinforced. These strengths are based on the learning and teaching styles of their home, which are influenced by the structure and cultural background of the child's family. Our staff is responsible for creating a multi-lingual, cross cultural environment, which fosters the cognitive, emotional, physical and social development of all children.
Kidango is a beautiful tapestry of people, cultures and backgrounds. Our diversity is demonstrated by our ethnically diverse staff and children, our economically diverse parents and inclusion classrooms that serve as a model of fully integrating children with special needs within our programs. The California Department of Education commended Kidango for our multicultural curriculum.
